We often praise the individual collector car clubs in our articles and other writings, and for good reason – they offer not only a community, but also resources and expertise. For example:
Just today (or yesterday – I forget when people plop things on my desk), I got the latest issue of Tough Americans, the club newsletter for the National American Motors Drivers and Racers Association. Halfway through, they tossed in a copy of a letter from Dave Landrith, of Hurst Performance Research, Inc., to American Motors dealers, detailing exactly how they should go about positioning the new SC/Rambler in their showrooms and use it to sell AMXs and Javelins.
Now where else are you gonna find something like that?
